How It Started!

In mid-2015, when a loving mother (Aisha) and loving grandmother (Brenda) had a difficult time finding a local party place to have a "private" birthday party for their one-year old bundle of joy (KyRen), the difficulty inspired us to formulate the idea of opening a kid's party center . . . and so KYRENLAND Event Center's (KEC) wonderful and fun journey began! We realized that parties, events and celebrations have a lasting impact on children and adults, too. That's why at KEC, our goal is to make our clients have memories that last an entire lifetime.

In August 2019, our second bundle of joy (Kace) was born. Unfortunately, he was born with a variety of medical issues, including severe asthma and Eosinophilic Esophagitis (EoE) which is an inflammation of the esophagus, causing digestive and respiratory issues. There is no cure for EoE, but treatments (surgery, medicines, and physical therapy) help reduce his problems. Kace is resilient and miraculously he’s able to bounce back after many tough situations. His medical conditions and expenses made us push even harder towards opening our business.

We planned, we saved, and we decided to take a leap of faith in January 2020. However, one month later, in February 2020 and just as we were about to enter into a lease agreement, COVID-19 pandemic changed everything, and our dream was deferred. All non-essential businesses were forced to close, and we placed everything in storage.

Fast forward, KEC has changed its focus and decided to produce custom event and party favors while also offering laser engraving services. Since the business was initially named after KyRen, we explained to him that a business name should reflect the services offered. KyRen then said, "If we change the name, will we be rich? Gosh, imagine that." So welcome to our new beginning as Envision Crafts!
